    Kenny Saunders

Kenny landed in Tullahoma in May of 2017. With a resume that stretches literally around the world, Kenny started his golf career at Nashville Golf & Athletic Club. Once he passed his Playing Ability Test and enrolled in the PGA Management Program he moved on to be an assistant professional at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, TN. Where he spent the next 3 ½ years under the tutelage of Mike Eller and Jim Vernon. Kenny then took a huge leap of faith and took a Director of Golf position at 2 resort courses in Vietnam. The next 3 ½ years were spent in Dalat (Dalat Palace Golf Course) and Phan Thiet (Ocean Dunes Golf Club) while at this time earning his Class A PGA Membership. While deciding to work their way back home, Kenny and his wife, Millie also enjoyed stops in Cancun, Mexico (Puerto Cancun Golf Club) and Antigua. The next 6 years were spent in Hertford, NC at The Sound Golf Links at Albemarle Plantation, a gated community overlooking the Albemarle Sound of the Inner Banks. Kenny is also most likely the only PGA Professional in the world that is also a certified Diamontologist as he spent 20 years in the Fine Jewelry Industry with stints in Roanoke, Va. (his home town), St. Thomas, USVI and Nashville, TN. Always the sportsman, he enjoys golf (of course), sailing (he once owned a 22’ Catalina aptly named “Water Hazard”) and every sport imaginable.
